Here are pictures that I took yesterday!

Here are several pictures of Avignon (within the Ramparts)--the Pope's Palace dominates these...:






Here is a picture of the Palais des Papes--I took it on our walk yesterday, so it's not a very good view of it. When I go there, I'll be sure to take pictures!!:


The Center of Avignon (Centre d'Avignon) is surrounded by the original ramparts (to which various popes added...what is there is the"most recent"--which is still old.). I live just inside the Eastern edge of the Ramparts. (The Palais des Papes is just inside the western edge of the Ramparts, beside the Rhone [the river].) Here are pictures of my French home:

(Above: Garden outside a Protestant church. I bought my lunch and walked to sit here to eat today.

(This is called Les Halles. (That means market place really,) but this wall of vegetation has been named. I walk past them every day on the way to school. The plants grow directly out of the wall on top of that shop. I think it's very cool.)
